I had a Mother's Day pic in the works but it wasn't ready in time, so this is what you get instead.

This is Eva and Rick as they looked ten years before the Great Race of Oban. They didn't meet at that time but I'm sure they would have formed a strong bond even then. I think of their relationship as like very close siblings. The idea of romance between them gives me some squicky vibes of wrongness. Not to mention the age gap, she was five when he was, like, twenty! Rick's too cool to be a pedophile!
